Adonsonii

Monstera Adansonii is a highly recognised house plant, the highly fenestrated, oval shaped lush green leaves give it an exotic, jungle-like appearance, its a climber in its natural environment so give it a support pole or moss pole and the leaves will get larger and larger, however it will also do well cascading over a pot on a tall shelf.

Lighting.

Indirect light is the way to go with this plant, full afternoon sun can scorch the leaves so pop it near but not on a windowsill in a south / south-west facing room, alternatively an east facing windowsill to take advantage of the morning sun but expect slower growth.

Watering.

Roughly halfway dry before watering.

Temperature.

Warmer rooms will keep the Adonsonii happiest, anything above 20 C below that and in the winter months you may notice the plant go dormant but she'll wake up when the warmer weather (or central heating) kicks in again.
