Burle-Marxii

The Burle-Marxii has eye catching silver-green oval leaves with a dark green herringbone pattern and deep maroon on the underside of the leaves. One for those that love a high variety in their lead designs.

Lighting requirements:

Never in full sun as the leaves are quite delicate and could burn with full sun on them, will be happy behind a shear net curtain or a west facing window to get the most of that afternoon sun.

Watering:

Consistently moist but never sitting in water, ideally water when the top inch or so of the pot is dry, bonus points as a plant parent if you can water with rain water as tap water has minerals that can lead to brown tips.

Temperature and humidity:

Will prefer warmer rooms 20°C+, UK humidity is ok for this plant but if you have a humidifier the plant will benefit.
